Chicken Kebabs

Juicy, flavorful chicken kebabs marinated in a blend of spices and grilled to perfection, perfect for a quick and delicious meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, turmeric, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the skewers.
  6. Grill the kebabs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until chicken is fully cooked and slightly charred.
  7. Remove from grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with a side of fresh salad or warm pita bread and a dollop of tzatziki sauce for an authentic touch.
