Cheeseburger Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls

These cheeseburger sliders on soft Hawaiian rolls combine juicy beef patties and melted cheese for a delicious, bite-sized treat perfect for parties or quick meals.

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 12 pickle slices
  • Butter, for toasting rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with chopped onions, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the beef mixture into 12 small patties, about the size of the rolls.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  5. Place cooked patties on the bottom halves of the Hawaiian rolls.
  6. Top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and a pickle slice.
  7. Mix ketchup and mustard and spread on the top halves of the rolls.
  8. Assemble the sliders and place them on a baking sheet.
  9. Lightly butter the tops of the rolls and bake for 5-7 minutes until the cheese melts and rolls are toasted.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra kick, add a few drops of hot sauce or swap cheddar for pepper jack cheese.
