Christmas Rice Crispy Treats

Festive and chewy Christmas Rice Crispy Treats made with marshmallows and colorful holiday sprinkles, perfect for a quick and joyful holiday snack.

  • 6 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup red and green holiday sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Quickly add the crispy rice cereal and half of the holiday sprinkles, stirring until evenly coated.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan using a spatula or wax paper.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining holiday sprinkles on top and gently press them into the treats.
  7. Allow to cool completely at room temperature before cutting into squares.

Notes

For extra festive treats, try adding chopped candy canes or white chocolate drizzle on top before the treats set.
