Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • For the dipping sauce:
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    2 tbsp ketchup
    1 tbsp honey
    1 tsp Dijon mustard
    1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. In a third bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Dip each chicken tender first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the panko-Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the chicken tenders in batches for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove tenders and drain on paper towels.
  8. For the dipping sauce, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, honey, Dijon mustard, and smoked paprika until smooth.
  9. Serve the crispy chicken tenders warm with the dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

For an extra crispy texture, let the breaded tenders rest in the fridge for 15 minutes before frying. You can also bake them at 400°F for 20 minutes as a healthier alternative.
