Garlic Butter Salmon

Garlic Butter Salmon is a flavorful and easy-to-make dish featuring tender salmon fillets cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a quick and healthy meal.

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side up in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip the salmon and reduce heat to medium.
  5. Add butter and minced garlic to the pan, spooning the melted butter and garlic over the salmon as it cooks for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Remove skillet from heat, drizzle lemon juice over the salmon, and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  7. Serve immediately with your choice of side dishes.

For an extra burst of flavor, serve with a side of steamed asparagus or garlic mashed potatoes.
