  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt the butter.
  7. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  8. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens slightly.
  9. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over each piece.
  10. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve over cooked pasta or steamed vegetables. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
