Garlic Shrimp Bowl

A flavorful and easy-to-make Garlic Shrimp Bowl featuring tender shrimp sautéed in a buttery garlic sauce, served over a bed of rice and fresh veggies.

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
  4. Stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley; remove from heat.
  5. Prepare a bowl with cooked jasmine rice as the base.
  6. Top the rice with steamed broccoli, bell peppers, and the garlic shrimp.
  7. Garnish with additional parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle red pepper flakes on the shrimp while cooking or serve with a side of avocado slices.
