Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs

Juicy chicken thighs glazed in a flavorful honey garlic sauce, perfect for a quick and delicious dinner that everyone will love.

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry and season with salt, pepper, and dried thyme.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add chicken thighs skin-side down and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Flip chicken and cook the other side for 3 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
  7. Pour the sauce over the chicken thighs in the skillet.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  9. Remove from oven and spoon sauce over the chicken.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, broil the chicken for the last 2 minutes of cooking and serve with steamed rice and sautéed vegetables.
