Loaded Philly Cheesesteak Sliders

These Loaded Philly Cheesesteak Sliders feature tender, sautéed steak, melted cheese, and sautéed peppers and onions on soft slider buns, perfect for a crowd-pleasing appetizer or game day snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 8 slider buns
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, sauté until softened and slightly caramelized, about 7-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and the thinly sliced ribeye steak. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Return the sautéed peppers and onions to the skillet with the steak, stir to combine.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider buns in half and lightly toast if desired.
  5. Assemble the sliders by evenly distributing the steak mixture among the bottom halves of the buns. Top each with a slice of provolone cheese.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns on the sliders and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are warmed through.
  8. If desired, spread mayonnaise on the buns before assembling for extra flavor. Serve hot.

Notes

For an extra kick, add sliced jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce before serving. These sliders pair well with a side of crispy fries or a fresh green salad.
