Maple Carrot Fries

Deliciously sweet and crispy Maple Carrot Fries are a healthier twist on traditional fries, perfect as a snack or side dish with a hint of natural maple flavor.

  • 4 large carrots, peeled and cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss carrot fries with olive oil, maple syrup, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the carrots in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until fries are crispy and tender.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak the carrot fries in cold water for 30 minutes before baking and pat dry thoroughly.
