Delicious and quick peanut butter no bake cookies that combine creamy peanut butter with rich cocoa for a perfect sweet treat without the oven.

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add sugar, milk, and cocoa powder; stir until combined and bring to a rolling boil for 1 minute.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Mix in the oats thoroughly until evenly coated.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper and let cool until set, about 30 minutes.

Notes

For a crunchy texture, substitute quick oats with old-fashioned rolled oats. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
