Pistachio Lush Dessert

Pistachio Lush is a rich, layered dessert featuring a creamy pistachio pudding, whipped topping, and a crunchy crust, perfect for any special occasion or sweet craving.

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1 package (9 oz) chocolate wafer cookies, crushed
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix crushed chocolate wafers and melted butter until combined; press mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan to form crust.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and powdered sugar; beat until smooth and creamy.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together cold milk and pistachio pudding mix until thickened.
  4. Fold the pudding into the cream cheese mixture gently until well incorporated.
  5. Spread half of the cream cheese and pistachio mixture evenly over the crust.
  6. Layer half of the whipped topping over the cream cheese layer, then sprinkle with half the chopped pistachios.
  7. Repeat layering with the remaining cream cheese mixture and whipped topping.
  8. Finish by sprinkling remaining pistachios on top.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving to allow layers to set.

Notes

For an extra burst of flavor, drizzle melted white chocolate over the top before serving.
