- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Place the cereal in a large mixing bowl. Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer the coated cereal into a large resealable plastic bag. Add powdered sugar, seal the bag, and shake until the cereal is completely coated in sugar.
- Spread the Puppy Chow Balls on parchment paper to cool and set before serving.
Notes
For an extra crunch, try adding chopped nuts or a sprinkle of sea salt before the final sugar coating.
